Welcome to Cowes Baptist Church
We are a diverse and growing community of Christians, trying to follow Jesus in every part of life as we worship, grow, and serve together. We believe that when our words and actions reflect the character and teaching of Jesus, a culture of unconditional welcome, abundant hospitality, mercy instead of judgement, and a generous sense of inclusion is created. That’s what we hope you will find at CBC. For us, church is not a building, it’s about becoming part of a family. Together we seek to join in with God’s mission of love, as we care for one another, invite others to know and follow Jesus, and as we try to make a difference in God's world, here on the Island, and further afield. We hope you will find God’s love shining through everything we do and we warmly invite you to come along and see for yourself. Whatever your age or stage of life, whatever your background or life experience, whether you are just curious, a committed Christian, or somewhere in between, you will find a welcoming, safe space, to explore faith here.

Forthcoming Events and Recent News
The small group that meets in the church lounge on
Thursdays at 7.15pm will be following the Lectio 365 Lent Resources
based around the wisdom of the Desert Fathers and Mothers. It will
consist of a short video, bible readings and discussion
