All children’s and youth activities are run by volunteers who are safely recruited, and DBS checked. You can read our safeguarding policy here.
On Sunday mornings at 10.30 the whole church family gathers to worship God. Everybody is welcome whatever age or stage of life you are. For the first part of the service, we will all be together, but part way through children and young people have the opportunity to leave the main gathering to enjoy age-appropriate activities, led by our children’s workers.
Tuesday Toddlers meets every Tuesday in term-time, from 9.30 to 11.00am. It is a friendly group for pre-school aged children and their parent/carer. There is soft play, imaginative play, construction play, craft, puzzles and singing to enjoy as well as each other’s company. Tea/Coffee Juice and biscuits and a fruit snack for the children are also served. Cost £2.00 per family.
Messy Church happens on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.15-4.45pm about every six weeks. Look out for News and check out the church calendar. Messy Church is for preschool and primary children and their parents and carers. There is free-play, craft, activities, song and story on a theme that helps us learn more about God together. We also get to share some snacks. Messy Church, as for all CBC’s worship and learning gatherings is free, but it is a good idea to book your place so we have enough craft and food prepared!
