We usually have two services each Sunday, in the morning and in the evening, followed by refreshments and the opportunity to enjoy fellowship together. Occasionally our services will be replaced by joint fellowship times with other local churches. Please see our newsletter for details of this Sunday.
At 10.30am we have Morning Worship, with around 80 people including children, which is structured but informal, multi-voiced and often lively and contemporary. These services vary in style but include a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, led by our Worship Group, using keyboards and a range of instruments; prayer; and Bible teaching, led by a range of speakers. Often there are interviews, drama or videos and other contributions. Details of upcoming services can be found on our newsletter, the most recent of which you will find here.
We run a crèche, and groups for young people during most morning services, the exception being when we all come together for our regular Worship Together services which is a chance for all the church family to participate and to learn from each other. Communion services are held monthly and are followed by prayer ministry.
Our evening services are at 6.30pm, with a smaller congregation and are usually quieter and more meditative. These also vary in style and format, from Taize and Prayer Stations to interview style services where we can share our Christian experience and meatier discussions on faith and doubt.
We also celebrate special occasions during the church year in different ways. For details see the newsletter.
Join us on the last Sunday of each month during the Winter for a warming soup lunch and fellowship after the morning service.
